I'm Tony Eden, a first-time author, and I'm thrilled to introduce my work, "Elephants Bathe in Dust." My journey has taken me from earning a B.A. in English Literature at the University of British Columbia in 2011 to my current role as a full-time litigator at a law firm in Vernon, BC.
I spent several years practicing law in downtown Vancouver before finding my place in Vernon.
My passion for literature, especially in the realms of science fiction and satire, has always burned brightly. Back at UBC, I had the opportunity to lead a student-directed seminar on the works of Vonnegut, which was a truly enriching experience.
When I'm not assisting clients with legal matters or engrossed in writing, you'll find me embracing the outdoors. Whether it's paddle boarding on Lake Kalamalka, cycling through scenic routes, honing my golfing skills, participating in a spirited game of hockey, or hitting the slopes for some skiing, I'm always seeking new adventures.
In my spare time, I'm an avid reader with eclectic tastes and a deep appreciation for sketch comedy. I try to live by one of Vonnegut's cherished mantras: "We are here on earth to fart around," which keeps me grounded and reminds me to enjoy life's little pleasures.
